How to Downgrade iOS 5.0.1 to iOS 4.3.3 For Untethered Jailbreak

If you have a jailbreak untethered necessarily at this time, there is always the possibility of a downgrade back to 4.3.3 IOS.

Note: This is assuming you have saved your SHSH drops IOS 4.3.3. It uses the latest version of redsn0w 0.9.9b8 TinyUmbrella and iTunes. You can use the IOS firmware 4.3.3 or below our download page.

Step 1: Put your device into DFU mode.

Step 2: Make sure your hosts-file without any Apple-references (see video)

Step 3: Open redsn0w> Go to Tools> Click PwnedDFU. Your screen should stay black iDevice.

Step 4: Open TinyUmbrella, click Start Server TSS

Step 5: Open iTunes, hold Option + Restore (Shift + Restore in Windows) and select the IOS firmware 4.3.3.

Step 6: When error recovery (1) obtained in the vicinity of iTunes.

Step 7: TinyUmbrella click Advanced and uncheck "Set home to Cydia to get ..." About TinyUmbrella.

Click Open redsn0w> Go to Tools> resolution of the restoration: step 8. The screen should look like, as if the device is released. You must then return to a solid black screen.

Step 9: Open redsn0w> Go to Tools> Just click start. Now the device will reboot and you can see Pwnapple logo. The device should now be successfully returned to IOS 4.3.3

Step 10: Open iTunes, select the device.
