iPhone 4 VS Samsung Galaxy S II Which Is The Slimmest : UK Advertising Standards Authority

According to a report published today in the British Advertising Authority has decided that Apple's iPhone 4 is, which has the title "world's thinnest phone" Samsung Galaxy and S II.

The news comes from TechCrunch, where he reports that the British Advertising Standards Authority has blocked Samsung say that it should have the world's thinnest smartphone.

The reason given for this is that Apple's iPhone four measures 9.3 mm thick from top to bottom, while the Samsung S Galaxy II mainly 8.71 mm thick, except on the ground, where it receives 9, 91 mm thick (this "shock" is where the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi phones and associated hardware is housed, but also increases the grip).

From TechCrunch:
The ASA ruled that since the iPhone’s thickest point is thinner than the Galaxy S II’s thickest, Apple has the right to continue claiming the title. Samsung likely isn’t too pleased — save for a single thick bit, their GSII is mostly thinner, and Apple gets to maintain their positioning (in the UK at least) as purveyors of slim, sleek design.

This basically means that Samsung has not been able to Galaxy II as "the thinnest smartphone in the world" advertising in the United Kingdom. There is however a loophole Samsung used to add the "thinnest phone" in their ads, which we'll talk at some time 'can be.

This is not really a big problem for the company, I would say, because there are a lot of other titles Sammy could use for the Galaxy II, S, such as the fastest smartphone in the world and the world's most advanced display (AMOLED is Super Plus amazing!).

Is there a possibility that the Samsung S Galaxy II has clearly confirmed that no other phone can boast: that of the thinnest dual-core smartphone. All this, while the Japanese based on Android Medias N-04C NEC holds the title of the thinnest single-core phone (just 7.7 mm thick!).

The Samsung S Galaxy II is a best-selling smartphones, with more than 5 million units in just 85 days. Note still that S Galaxy II is not even introduced in the USA!
