Actual Data Usage Of Siri On iPhone 4S

So, with the introduction of the iPhone 4S, Siri was fitted our own personal assistant. Now the question is: how much data is our brand new iPhone with Siri and we are silly questions like "Siri, open the pod bay doors."

Syrians need a network connection of some sort, whether it was Wi-Fi or 3G from Apple cloud contact, and a number of tests performed by Ars Technica, to find out exactly how much data to use the Syrians. They carried out the tests as follows:

They performed six tasks that were localized to the iPhone, the Syrians have asked to set an alarm, then asked the Syrians to make an appointment (it was later canceled), and then a phone call and a contact look-up. After these tasks are different issues such as the Syrians relegated "How many calories in a muffin?" And: "What the real name of Lady Gaga?"

Therefore, the results from these tests are a bit "surprised, and the Syrians do not really use this data to time used, a total of 220KB for the first six tasks and 60kb-18kb per task, of course, depending on the type of application and its complexity .

The second group of five activities, the use of the data until only 473.5KB, with all activities, ranging from 23KB-187KB seen again depending on the complexity of the issue.

In total, including all activities was the use of the data 693.6KB. So, from these tests we can see that whatever we ask Siri to do, which is originally from the iPhone, is relatively low use of data and a Web search using more data, which is exactly what we would expect .

Let us see it from a data rate side of things, if you follow these 11 questions each day (which to be honest, probably not) is used somewhere in the range of 20 MB per month of data.

So all in all, it is not to upgrade your data plan stupid questions Syrians. Of course, I expect that someone who has an iPhone 4S on a WiFi network, most of the time anyway.
