The promise is bold: true voice input and control, without the need for robots to learn the language of control commands yesterday. But it's like working in advertising, especially when in a busy environment?
When a new video from UK magazine Stuff has to judge by, it could be Apple has a winner with its new system-side implementation of voice commands and dictation.
The video shows a variety of commands issued and implemented in a quite noisy, which is probably the Apple store in London's Covent Garden. The video also shows how well the software can recognize and understand proper English accent, as well as the new male voice that Apple has chosen for the Syrians. There is currently no word on whether those votes will be selected in the software settings, or if for different regions have different voices, but we're pretty confident that Apple will one day make downloadable voices a reality, not as a Sat Nav device.
Also noteworthy is the way the Syrians are white, which is a member of the family. Telling the device in an e-mail to send SMS or call a spouse or parent results in the software to collect the right contact in your address book, as if by magic. Once again, we have not seen it yet, but we suspect it will be possible to define a setting for individuals or contacts in the user alias Syrians. Or that Siri is a little 'too smart!
Siri will be a part of the iPhone 4S, which will be launched this Friday. Control with the impressive voice and a A5 integrated dual-core processor, the reinforced iPhone 4S retains the same industrial design in question, as Apple's iPhone 4. Many in the industry have for a radical departure from the all glass and metal frame, now we are hoping to raise a whole new teardrop design. Oh, this was not the case to be.
At least we know what you're asking for the iPhone 5, but!
