This feature was an 8-megapixel camera, a nice bump from iPhone 4 to 5-megapixel shooter. As you might expect, Apple has the boat in the marketing of major photography skills offered by the growth in pixels from last year's model pushed.
While this is certainly impressive, what the increase in quality when recording video with the new 1080p-ready lens?
Apple has once again invited his new software for image stabilization, which according to them, get rid of all those shaky-cam video, we see all around the Internet, and facilitate the process, hopefully it makes people, video get correct display of the new iDevices!
So, how good is the video that was just this goal, compared to, say, a high-end DSLR? I'm glad you asked, as a crazy guy has rigged up an elaborate test against the Canon EOS 5D MKII, just to answer this question, and the results are startling.
Robino Films has put together a small video camera with the above and an iPhone 4S together after cutting the two things, loaded with everyone's favorite destination for high-definition video - Vimeo.

Exposure, shutter speed, frame rate and picture style were matched as close as possible between the two cameras.
This test shows that the tiny F2.4 lens and sensor on the iPhone are pretty nice. It even got a little depth of field!

What the evidence shows that the iPhone 4S is not a bad little video camera and taking into account you have with you always, must be regarded as one of the most useful. With the iPhone 4 is already the most widely used camera on Flickr for photos, we could see the iPhone 4S do the same, but with the video?
