Apple Now Second ‘Coolest Brand’ in the UK

Not many would argue against the claim that Apple is really a brand 'cool'. iPhone, iPod, and led the Cupertino company in the hearts and minds of the paying public, but you know what else interesting? An Aston Martin, at least for people in the United Kingdom ...

The small bomb comes courtesy of the index CoolBrands, which is to classify the coolest company in the United Kingdom. In this latest ranking of the Aston Martin sitting pretty at number one point, with Apple in second place. Then there is a mix of tech, Blackberry, Google and YouTube, all of the top ten, along with the likes of Nike and Rolex.

It would be interesting to see how these statistics change when Apple announces the next iPhone next week!
“Stephen Cheliotis, chairman of the CoolBrands Expert Council, said: “Cool is subjective and personal. But being identified as a Cool Brand by the British public and a panel of influential opinion formers implies it is a brand that most Brits wish to own.
“Votes are based on a wide criteria of factors but these brands are clearly delivering cool in the eyes of consumers and influencers alike,” he said.”
You have to admit, Aston Martin are very sweet!
